Applied AI for businesses
Chatbots, lead qualification, and AI-assisted flows where they truly save time — on WhatsApp, web, or your operations.
Useful AI in an SMB is not a flashy demo: it is a flow that replies faster, qualifies better, or summarizes information that currently burns hours. At Conecta we implement applied AI — especially support and follow-up on WhatsApp or web — when the use case is measurable.
We already use this technology in our own operations (chat and lead qualification). That keeps us honest: if a static FAQ or classic automation solves 80%, we will not sell you an unnecessary model.
Use cases where AI actually helps
Answering FAQs after hours with handoff to a human when the case is complex. Qualifying leads with your criteria (budget, urgency, project type). Summarizing long conversations so sales can resume without rereading the whole chat. Classifying requests and routing them to the right team.
We avoid promises of “AI that replaces your team”. The pattern that works is AI + clear process + humans at decision moments.
WhatsApp, web, and data: responsible limits
We work with the WhatsApp Cloud API and web channels based on your operation. We define what data goes to the model, what is logged, and how consent is handled when it applies. In Colombia we follow habeas data good practices — we do not improvise with sensitive information.
We also measure: automated resolution rate, time to first response, and handoff percentage. Without metrics, AI is decoration.
Typical scenario
A company gets dozens of daily messages asking for prices, hours, or whether they offer a service. The bot handles the standard answers, captures name, need, and contact channel, and escalates to a person for negotiation or anything off-script. The team stops repeating the same replies and focuses on closing.

How we work
-
01
Use case and limits
What AI must solve, what it must never invent, and when to hand off to a human.
-
02
Conversation design + integration
Scripts, tools (calendar, CRM), and qualification criteria aligned to your business.
-
03
Controlled pilot
Bounded real traffic, failure review, and prompt/rule tuning before scaling.
-
04
Operations with metrics
Monitoring, improvements, and maintenance. AI degrades if nobody owns it.
Indicative pricing
An AI support or qualification pilot is usually narrower than a full custom system; cost depends on channels, integrations, and volume. We quote in COP after the assessment. If a non-AI flow solves it better, we recommend that.
Also includes
- Use-case design and clear limits on what AI should (and should not) answer
- WhatsApp or web bots with human handoff
- Integration with your CRM, calendar, or follow-up flows
- WhatsApp + AI
- Lead qualification
- Assisted support
- No hype
Frequently asked questions
Do you build WhatsApp AI chatbots?
Yes, when there is volume of repetitive questions and a clear human handoff. A bot that frustrates customers is worse than none — we design limits, tone, and escalation.
Does AI replace my sales or support team?
That is not the goal. AI filters, answers the standard cases, and prepares context. People close deals and handle exceptions. You gain time without losing relationship quality.
Is my data safe?
We define what is sent to model providers, what is stored, and retention. We avoid unnecessary sensitive data. The concrete design depends on your case and is agreed before implementation.
How long does an AI bot take to implement?
A focused pilot can ship in weeks if the use case is clear and integrations are few. What stretches projects is business ambiguity (“make it answer everything”), not the model itself.
How is this different from automation without AI?
Classic automation follows fixed rules (if X, do Y). AI helps when language varies or you need to classify/summarize. Many projects use both: rules for the critical path and AI for natural language.
